Med 6. in 18. oktobrom 2018  so v Buenos Airesu potekale 3. mladinske Olimpijske igre. Slovensko reprezentanco je zastopalo 25 slovenskih športnikov in športnic od 14–18. leta starosti. Olimpijskih iger se je udeležila tudi naša dijakinja Tjaša Zajc. V disciplini suvanja krogle je kljub težki konkurenci in slabim vremenskim razmeram dosegla uspešno 14. mesto. Z nami je delila tudi nekaj svojih utrinkov in nam zaupala, da ji je bilo najbolj všeč to, da je spoznala veliko novih kultur in navezala mnoga nova prijateljstva. V prihodnosti si želi postaviti nov državni rekord v suvanju krogle in se udeležiti svetovnega prvenstva.
